Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using PDF Tools Suite ("the Site", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Description of the service
PDF Tools Suite provides five PDF tools: Merge, Split, and Rotate run entirely in your browser and never transmit your files anywhere. Compress and PDF-to-Word are processed on our server, with your file deleted immediately after processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
3. Access to the service
The Service is free and does not require an account. We reserve the right to rate-limit or restrict access to the server-side tools to prevent abuse.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to process.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically automate use of the server-side tools beyond normal, occasional use.
- Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code.
5. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", on a best-efforts basis, without warranty of uptime or continuous availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to the documents you process through the Service. We claim no ownership over your files and, for the reasons explained in our Privacy Policy, generally have no access to them in the first place.
7. Intellectual property
The Site's design, branding, and code (excluding your own documents) are our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PDF Tools Suite is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from use of the Service. Always keep your own backup of important documents before processing them with any online tool.
9. Termination
We may suspend or block access for use that violates these terms, without prior notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction].
